Private Services Contract
- We will serve as your and your family's guide and
mentor throughout
the five steps of the college planning process. With your and your
family's help, we will develop a personalized, flexible plan for
you. If you agree to give it you best effort, you and your family
can expect to gain vital knowledge, confidence, peace of mind, and make
sound, accurate college planning decision. The five steps are
closely linked and sequential.
- To maintain service excellence, our private practices are each limited to
25 families at any given time.

Five Steps of College Planning - (The Foundation of Your College Plan) - SELF-AWARENESS.
$500. Become aware of your personality traits and
interests, your strengths and limitations, and how these relate to
specific careers and college majors. you will complete
personality and interest surveys, a college Readiness Survey,
Student Information Profile and a Resume.
- CAREER EXPLORATION. $500. Explore in-depth
those careers and/or majors which appear to best match your
personality traits, interests, strengths, limitations, values and
skills. Career options are identified.
- COLLEGE EXPLORATION. $500. Identify and
explore those college that appear to best match your career and
major options, credentials and expectations. You will use
tools such as the College Matching Questionnaire to help find
colleges. Carefully planned visits to the
"candidate" college are vital in identifying college you
will apply to.
- COLLEGE ADMISSION. $500. Select the
college you will apply to, then apply to each with confidence,
focusing on deadlines, essays, personal statements and letters of
recommendation. You will understand such concepts as
leveraging, admission options and evaluating offers.
- SCHOLARSHIP/FINANCIAL AID. $500. This step is
vital when selecting your "right fit" college. You
and your family can make college more affordable by: A) searching
for merit/talent scholarships offered by colleges; B) searching for
private donor and local scholarships; C) understanding the steps and
related strategies for obtaining low cost education loans,
need-based scholarships, grants and other types of aid and, D)
learning how to impact and evaluate scholarships and financial aid
offered by college.
